Free Your Water
The MV Tap Map: Refill for free across the Island
In an ongoing effort to reduce the pollution and waste associated with bottled water served in disposable plastic bottles, our Take Back the Tap initiative has already brought water bottle refill stations to more than 20 locations across the Island, with many more still in progress or anticipated for the future. These machines dispense chilled, filtered water — for free, and faster than than buying a bottle from a store or vending machine. Many thanks to our generous donors who have funded the Take Back the Tap refill stations, and also to the other organizations, such the YMCA, the MV Hospital, and Felix Neck, who have installed refill stations on their own.
Refill Station Locations (So Far!)
VCS provided refill stations at the following locations: Boys & Girls Club, Chilmark Community Center, Chilmark School, Dukes County Courthouse (2), Edgartown Library, Edgartown School, Edgartown Town Hall, Healey Square (OB), Memorial Wharf (Edg.), MV Agricultural Society, MV Airport, MV Arena, MV Public Charter School, MV Regional High School (4), Oak Bluffs Library, Oak Bluffs School, Tisbury School, West Tisbury Library, West Tisbury School, West Tisbury Town Hall, VTA Church St. Comfort Station (Edg.), Veteran’s Park (2) and the YMCA.
